Celebration of World Prematurity Day on St George’s neonatal unit

We celebrated World Prematurity Day (November 17th) in style on St George’s neonatal unit with a visit from the Mayor of Wandsworth Sana Jefri, and the deputy Mayor of Merton, Brenda Fraser. On hand to welcome the mayors and share their experiences were Frank and his mum and dad. On World Prematurity Day we celebrate our preterm babies everywhere, and support their parents in their journeys, however long they are. We also celebrate our amazing staff providing care to the babies and their families! There was cake for mums, dads and staff, and there was a special gift bag for each baby from First Touch. Thank you again Mayors for making this a special day on St George’s neonatal unit!
