Laura Savell is another hero to conquer the Brighton Marathon this year!
Laura has managed to raise over £2000 for First Touch, in loving memory of her good friend, Anna Bannerman. First Touch was a charity close to Anna’s heart, and knowing this motivated Laura to keep on training and fundraising.
Laura told us: “It meant so much to run in memory of my dear friend Anna and for such an amazing charity. First Touch is very close to my heart too as my niece and nephew were also born prematurely and cared for by the wonderful team there.”
We have several people running in aid of First Touch this year. Some sign up for their own events and some pledge to fundraise for us through our charity places in the Asics London 10k and the Royal Parks Half Marathon. More information on this can be found here.
Our thanks to Laura and everyone else pounding the streets for us right now – we think you are all brilliant!
