Every year we come together for our Annual Neonatal Memorial Service to remember and honour all the cherished babies who have died. This event is very important to the babies’ families and to the neonatal staff who cared for them.
Again this year we are sadly unable to meet in person and so the unit has arranged an online service which everyone will be able to join from home.
The service will be available online from 5pm on Friday 15th October to coincide with the Global Wave of Light at 7pm when people all around the world come together to remember all the precious babies who have died too soon.
The link will be posted here on the First Touch website and on Facebook and the service will be available to view at any time for the following 7 days.
If you would like your baby’s name to be read out during the service please email [email protected]. Please note we must receive your request by 8th October as the service will be pre-recorded.
As usual, First Touch is funding this year’s service. This year we have star shaped candle holders and candles which we can post out to families to light as part of the service and for the Wave of Light. If you would like us to post you a candle please email your name and address to [email protected] by 8th October.
